Fancourt - The Links is consistently ranked as the #1 course in the Western Cape and South Africa. It's the country's only true links course and hosted the 2003 Presidents Cup.
Green fees range from R1,500-R2,000 at courses like Atlantic Beach to R3,500-R4,500 at premium courses like Fancourt Links. Most courses offer discounted twilight and winter rates.
Steenberg Golf Club and Atlantic Beach are more forgiving for higher handicappers while still offering excellent conditions and scenery. Erinvale is also a good choice for improving players.
October to April offers the best weather, but courses are excellent year-round. Winter (May-Sep) provides better rates, fewer crowds, and still-pleasant playing conditions with minimal rain.
